The Survivor Fund is a 501(c)(3) established to provide critical client assistance funding and services to the Bellevue Program for Survivors of Torture (PSOT) through individual gifts and volunteer fundraising activities.  Our mission is to assist survivors of torture and other human rights abuses to rebuild their lives by restoring health, dignity and self-sufficiency. Since 1995, our Program has provided interdisciplinary medical, mental health, social and legal services to nearly 5,000 survivors from over 100 countries.  We are grateful for the generous support that enables us to alleviate survivors’ emergency needs, which helps reduce their immediate stressors to focus on and fully engage in treatment.
